Zlatni rat

Situated on the south side of the island of Brač, in Bol, the Zlatni rat beach (Golden Cape) is, according to the British magazine Daily Telegraph, the most beautiful beach in Europe. You can find numerous showers, bars and restaurants on the beach, or play some sports, like tennis, volleyball and picigin. Those wanting some real adrenaline rush can take up surfing or rent a jet-ski. Thick pine wood that surrounds the beach will provide a fine shade and shelter from a hot summer sun. Due to all these attributes, the best beach in Europe is a top destination for both families and youth.

Because od its unusual shape and beauty, it is one of the most popular symbols of Croatian tourism. This phenomenon is actually a thousand meters long pebbly cape, steeped into clear and transparent sea. It is special because the shape of the beach shifts with the changes in tide, currents and wind.
